Amanda Trapp (she/they) is a Cree and Saulteaux/settler artist, member of the White Bear Band, who calls Saskatoon home. Recent acting credits include: The Invisible: Agents of Ungentlemanly Warfare, Catalyst Theatre; exempt, Native Earth Performing Arts; I Lost My Husband, Persephone Theatre; Turn Turn Turn, Sum Theatre; Art of War, Hardly Art Theatre; Lady Macbeth and the Not Quite Dead, Musical TheatreWorks (for this she wrote an original song from the perspective of Cordelia in King Lear). As a composer/writer, she was nominated for a SATA for her score of Ferre Play Theatre’s The Penelopiad. Currently she’s working on composition and sound design for The Unplugging with Common Boots Theatre (Toronto), writing this summer’s Theatre in the Park score (Sum Theatre), and working on an original musical called West of Nowhere: A Western Western. amandatrapp.ca
