Support children at risk with Stephen’s Backpacks
One of the many ways Stephen’s Backpacks supports children at risk is through distributing backpacks with school supplies and Christmas gifts in Saskatchewan and Alberta. Donations of new backpacks, mitts, toques, socks, books, school supplies, personal hygiene items, warm blankets, and toys would be greatly appreciated! In Saskatoon, donations can be dropped off at Courts of Praise Church (2333 Herman Ave) or College Park Covenant Church (909 Acadia Dr) by Dec 15th. For details on donating items in Alberta and more info visit www.stephensbackpacks.com. Stephen McPhee, a Calgary boy with autism and a passion to help kids at risk of homelessness in his city, started the initiative with his parents in 2006 when he was six years old.
