Nicole Akan is a proud Nêhiyaw-iskwêw (Cree Woman) from Muskowekwan First Nation, based in Regina, Saskatchewan, Treaty 4 Territory. She is a model, actress, makeup artist and entrepreneur, recently launching her successful beauty business named Daybird Beauty. Nicole has always had a passion for the arts and discovered her love for theatre as a teen where she was the lead in productions titled “Akamemo” and “Young love”. Throughout her acting career Nicole has played a diverse list of characters in several film, television and local tv commercials including a dramatic role in a Health Sciences Association of Saskatchewan Paramedics Campaign.
