You’re invited to Fireside Stories & Celebration on June 4!

May 13, 2025

You're invited to a fundraiser party in our A.D.'s backyard!

To thank our community of patrons, donors, and sponsors for their support over the past two years, we’d like to share with everybody some nibblies around the fire, a few beautiful stories from this season, live music, and a taste of what’s cooking for next season.

Wednesday, June 4th at 7:00-8:30pm

at the Waldschmidts, 50 Neilson Cres, Saskatoon

Festivities of the evening to include:

  • Hear performer Elizabeth Nepjuk share the magical impact of Every Brilliant Thing across Saskatchewan!
  • Enjoy songs from Tim Bratton!

Plus we’ll announce our 2025-2026 season!

  • Award-winning local writer Arnolda Dufour Bowes will read from her new play that’s inspired by her family’s Métis story – which we’ll premiere in 2026.

Get to know Burnt Thicket’s leaders, staff, and some of our artists,

with finger foods, s'mores, and non-alcoholic beverages provided.

Please RSVP by JUNE 1st by emailing rebecca@burntthicket.com.

Partner with us by donating to our finishing strong appeal,

as we raise $8000 to ensure a firm foundation for next season.

Our donors, patrons, sponsors and funders have helped our company make a significant contribution over the last 5 years to the culture of Saskatoon, across our province, and in 46 cities spread between Victoria to Kingston. And we’ve recently been nominated for a second provincial award through SK Arts.

Our shows have done so well that we now have a new, unexpected expense – a financial review by a CPA, which wasn't budgeted for. We have a goal to raise $8000 by June 30th - will you join us to make a difference by donating today?

Burnt Thicket is a non-profit registered charity, so tax-deductible receipts will be issued for all donations over $20. All revenue goes toward supporting the artists who create our plays, production or operating expenses, and paying our part-time staff.

Thank you for supporting us in our mission to tell stories that kindle hopeful change in people’s lives!

Donate now to create more life-altering theatre.
