Actors are invited to submit a headshot and resume to request to audition for next season's shows. Auditions will be held June 15th and June 22nd, 2026.
Play titles will be announced at our Fireside Season Announcement Party on June 10, 2026. The characters below are those for which we’re auditioning. Some characters are already cast.
To request an audition please email Stephen Waldschmidt, BTT's artistic director, at stephen@burntthicket.com and include:
- a headshot and acting resume,
- indicate the role (or roles, see below) for which you want to be seen, and
- any times you are UNavailable to audition on June 15 and/or June 22, 2026.
Out of town actors or those unavailable in person are welcome to submit a self-tape by June 13, 2026 to the email address above. Actors who are selected for auditions will be sent playscript(s) and sides. It is possible we won't have enough time to see everyone who requests to audition.
Sides do NOT have to be memorized; we’ll ask for script-in-hand readings of sides.
Audition location is College Park Church, 909 Acadia Dr in Saskatoon just north of Centre Mall.
