An ancient text. One soul’s journey of longing. Experience a modern-day spiritual pilgrimage with a desperate and lonely King David near the end of his life, plagued by his inability to hear the once-familiar sound of the Eternal.
With breathtaking cinematography in the Scottish highlands, this film premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2025 and offers a contemplative landscape in which to slow down, wander, and re-connect.

“It is impossible to watch this film without having some visceral response, to feel in your bones and gut and heart that the ancient past is being pulled into this very moment, and it names you, and calls you, and, if you'll let it, heals you.
This isn't a normal film..." – Mark Buchanan, author
