Here’s 3 ways you can beat the winter blues, now that the snow seems here to stay:
1. Get tickets to see Every Brilliant Thing, our hit comedy about depression that’s back by popular demand. Jenna-Lee Hyde will reprise her role in Saskatoon’s Winterruption festival January 23-25 and at Regina’s Globe Theatre January 30-February 2. Then we’ll present a new co-production with Rosebud Theatre in Alberta all next summer! Tickets are now available for all three locations from the links below:
Jan. 23-25, 2020 in Saskatoon
at The Refinery (609 Dufferin Ave, Saskatoon) as part of Winterruption Saskatoon
Jan. 30-Feb. 2, 2020 in Regina
presented by Globe Theatre (1801 Scarth St, Regina), opening their 2020 Sandbox Series
June 24-Aug. 22, 2020 in Rosebud, AB
A new co-production with Rosebud Theatre, tickets available at RosebudTheatre.com
2. Donate to our Play It Forward campaign this Giving Tuesday, Dec 3, and enjoy the warm fuzzies that come with making a difference. If you believe that telling these kinds of stories matters for the common good of our neighbourhoods, our cities, and even our nation, would you consider donating today to support our work in the coming year? $1650 has already been given towards our $5000 goal! Will you partner with us by making a tax-deductible donation?
You can also send an e-transfer to firstname.lastname@example.org, or send a cheque payable to Burnt Thicket Theatre, 50 Neilson Cres., Saskatoon, SK, S7H 3N5. (CRA Charitable Registration # 820034635RR0001)
3. Come join us in Saskatoon for Christmas Presence on Dec 7 – a unique mashup of stories and songs that explores the nativity with a messy but joyful hope. Everyone is welcome, including kids! Artists include Becky Thomas, Yulissa Campos and Stephen Waldschmidt. December 7, 2019 @ 7:30pm, College Park Covenant Church, 909 Acadia Dr, Saskatoon. Admission: suggested donation of $10 and/or a new stuffie for Stephen’s Backpacks to support kids in need in Saskatoon.
